Confined spaces can expose workers to hazardous atmospheres, restricted movement, limited access, poor ventilation, and difficult emergency conditions. Inadequate planning, weak communication, or improper entry procedures can increase the risk of serious injury, illness, or fatal incidents.
The Working in Confined Spaces course covers confined space environments, hazard recognition, risk assessment, atmospheric control, entry operations, human factors, protective measures, rescue planning, incident prevention, safety leadership, and emerging workplace developments.
Learners will strengthen their ability to recognize hazards, support safer entry planning, follow control procedures, contribute to rescue preparedness, and promote responsible confined space practices. Certification is provided upon successful completion of the course.
