Lead exposure can create serious workplace health risks, particularly where lead-containing materials, dust, fumes, or contaminated surfaces are present. Poor hazard recognition, inadequate controls, and unsafe work methods may expose employees, contractors, communities, and the environment to preventable harm.
The Lead Awareness Training course covers lead risk recognition in Canadian workplaces, exposure pathways, health protection, compliance and training duties, control planning, safe work methods, work readiness, and environmental responsibility.
Learners will strengthen their ability to recognize lead hazards, understand exposure controls, follow safer procedures, and support responsible workplace practices. Certification is provided upon successful completion of the course.
