Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation require careful handling, informed decision-making, and respect for animal welfare, public safety, and conservation goals. Poor rescue practices, inadequate care, or failure to follow legal requirements can place animals, rehabilitators, volunteers, and communities at risk.
The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation course covers rescue and conservation foundations, Canadian wildlife laws, professional compliance, rehabilitation operations, species-specific care, wildlife health management, advanced rehabilitation practices, and emerging conservation challenges.
Learners will develop greater awareness of safe rescue procedures, rehabilitation responsibilities, animal health considerations, legal obligations, and conservation-focused decision-making. Certification is provided upon successful completion of the course.
