Mental health awareness supports safer, more respectful, and more responsive workplaces, schools, and communities. Limited understanding, stigma, delayed recognition, and uncertainty about how to respond can prevent people from seeking support and may affect well-being, communication, attendance, performance, and relationships.
The Mental Health Awareness Certificate course covers mental health literacy, Canadian perspectives, common conditions, early recognition, supportive communication, appropriate response, mental health across work, education, and community settings, inclusive promotion, and future developments.
Learners will strengthen their ability to recognize concerns, communicate respectfully, support appropriate next steps, and contribute to inclusive environments. Certification is provided upon successful completion of the course.
